I am the owner of a postpaid connection from airtel. I had a phone call from a local police station and a officer visited my house regarding phone calls from my number to another phone number. The owner of the number is accused of theft. The officer said that i have made those calls from my phone number about 1-1.5 months ago... the number of calls was 16.But i even dont know the number. I called that number in front of the officer and obviously the owner of that number dont even know me. The officer left and he also said me not to receive any further calls from the number, if it comes. I called airtel customer care after and they said it is impossible, WHERE I KNOW CALLER ID SPOOFING is possible. I want to stop the connection, and want to block the number also. But my complaint is how come a company like bharti airtel have such a loophole? This kind of problems is not expected anyway...
