Dear Sir,
I am resident of H wing, Flat no. 602 Krishna Residency, Atmaram compound, sunder nagar lane Malad (W), Mumbai - 400064. We have in our building around 15-20 stray dogs who re loitering around the whole day. In the evenings when there are young children playing in the society complex, these dogs bark at them and also run after them. Due to this the children get scared and start running. In such instances, since last few months nearly 2-3 kids of the complex have been bitten by these dogs. These not only scares the kids but also has caused grevious injury to them. Just two days back, my son was badly bitten by one of the dog on his leg. Morever these dogs give birth to litters in the areas where the kids park their bicycles. Hence whenever the kids go to collect the bicycles, they bark at them and try to bite them.
We have tried to scare them away many times but they again comeback in the night and evenings. Since we are not allowed to hit them as per law, we would request you to kindly confirm that what action we can take on this issue and whom do we contact in order to get these dogs removed from our complex.
