This regarding the tampering of meter of autoricksaw no. KA01 A 9205. We girls had to travel from Jayanagar 9th Block to ISRO Layout. The charge is usually 50 Rs. We had to tell the auto driver to stop at a dry cleaner shop near our destination for just 3-4 mins. We we got down from the auto, the charge was already 51 at that time. After 3-4 mins when we boarded the auto again the meter was 53. This shows that the meter was tampered. When we try to confront him he started abusing us saying we have not right to say that his meter is not working. The total meter came to 58 and he was not ready to give back 42 Rs. Instead he fought with us and abused us and wanted to charge 60Rs. We had to force him to give the money back for which he wanted to beat us up.
