A bus conducto

I was travelling in a bus while somebody took off my cell phone.nokia asha 200 .i requested the bus conductor to stop the bus as i found my bag's chain opened n realised my phone was stolen.but the driver did not stop the bus and let me get down after 15minutes after when the thief has already escaped
