Account Payee Cheque

Dear Sir

I have a Savings A/c (160010100469920) in Axis Bank, Saket Branch.

I gave 3nos of Account payee Cheques (no. 157541, 157542, 157543) to a person called Mr. Arif for LOAN Purpose. Later on when i tried to withdraw money from the Account i found there was Withdrawal of Rs. 5000/- by Cheque No. 157542 on 07/04 from Axis Bank in Yamuna Vihar branch.

I want to know that the cheques given by me were a/c payee cheques then how can anybody withdraw money by writing SELF on the cheque.

kendly help recovering my Money.
