Dear Sir, My father Late Mr Mahender Singh Phugat was holding a saving a/c no. 6490 and a Kisan Credit card of Central Bank, Sardhana, i was also joint in Kisan Credit card. I am working at Pune (Maharastra), both accounts was operated by my father itself. My father expire on 19th Nov'09. I called bank in 2010 and enquire about any outstanding against the same card. I come to know approx 20000 is outstading, so i called one of my family friend ask him to visit bank along with Rs 20000. I told him first you settle credit balance against saving a/c and deposit balance if any. Bank official ask him to deposit 20000 in saving account and later told him that after settlement credit balance is approx 24000/-. It means saving bank balance was enough to settle the dues. I again call manager, he told me that its ok whenever you visit we will pay remaing amount. I visit bank 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 april daily out of 5 days one day was bank holiday and one day manager was not available at branch. I requested manager that it is not possible for me to visit again and again but his behaviour was not good and i retuned back to my work at Pune. I visit bank along with death certificate and duly filled form which was given by bank. I am surprise to see this type of casual response by a reputed nationalise bank. Request you to kindly look in to the matter and do the needfull.
I have also complaint at Central Bank website, Complaint No. C/15045466 dt. 14/04/11
