Ouncing of cheque

I have a joint account with my wife in your bank account no 265100078117 & i have deposited cheque no 219378 of 8000 rs on 12 th march through my hdfc salaried account no 00352470007448 but it was not encashed but showing bounced due to insufficient funds but i have a balance of 13000 rs in this account on 9th march.please clarify me the reason of cheque bouncing.
