I have been using HDFC health plus credit card for almost 4 years. Suddenly, they discontinued the card and have sent me another Platinum card last year. I have gone through the tariff and found unnecessary for me due to the annual charges. I was also not happy with their billing service since i paid late fees on many occasions due to non-reciept of bill. Hence, i have cut the new card (without using it) diagonally after clearing the bills on my old card, and sent back to the office address mentioned for cancellation. Later i have recieved calls from the customer care twice during my office hours and I have not talked about the matter saying to call later.
But later I have been recieving bills with outstanding amounts and late fees for the new card. I am not aware about the charges as I have not used the card. Whenever I have asked the customer care personnel who called me for the old bill when this amount was charged, they used to send only the present bill. For this I have replied them asking for the past bill which contained the charges and not the overdue.
Recently the call have become more & more harassing. In the replies from HDFC customer care, they simply ask me to talk to the customer care. Please attend to the issue immediately.
