Amount deducted from my account, even though I have not withdrawn money

I have not used my debit card after 14 Sep 2010 for sure, today (21 Sep) I went to withdraw money and came to know that some amount was deducted from account stating this ..

17 Sep 2010 NWD-4214240507769756 -BANGALORE 000000008778 17 Sep 2010

The card was with me all the time, I am the only user of my debit card. When I called customer care they told I have withdrawn money from some ATM other than HDFC therefore NWD-4214240507769756 is coming in narration, which I suspect is wrong information provided to me. Please help me in resolving this ASAP.
