Providing incorrect information Credit card

Hi,

I got call from HDFC BANK for around two time in a day, person from HDFC bank convinced me by telling that this visa card does not need HDFC BANK account, u just have to just submit document and this card will be free for one year, i said 'Ok' and submitted my doucuments, while on verification call the person who is doing verfication provided me some other information about card and also told me that all theses kind of cards are not at all free. i denied to take any card from such BANK.

BANK should take strict action against such people who are not at all providing proper information
