I have a saving account in HDFC Viman Nagar, Pune branch from 2008.

I requested to convert the same to Salary Account in Aug.

Accordingly, I was told that the account has been converted to salary account with 0 balance in Sept. 2011.

But still the Minimum balance fees (AMB, AQB) is deducted from my account.

When I logged complaint at HDFC, customer care associate replied me saying the account can not be converted to 0 balance account (It is converted to Salary Account).

When I approached Branch Manager of Viman Nagar branch, she told me to meet the HDFC's Corporate Representative for your company.

Accordingly I called Mr. Prabhakar & explained him the scenario on 4 July. He told me that there should not be any min. balance fees for Salary Account. If it is deducted, you will get refund in 15 days.

When I called him after 15 days, he says it will get credited within next 2 days.

There is neither any refund nor any communication from HDFC till now.

Is this the way HDFC works?
