Bloclking debit card withoue proper updates

I have applied for upgraadation of Gold debit card to Platinum debit card

However I got my new PIN but not the debit card, when I enquired further they said it was returned as my mailing address was not updated properly.. However they did not bother to even inform me the same and now they are saying your current Debit card will also be blocked... I also failed to understand how is that possible that when I applied for a new credit card it was deliverd to me at the same mailing address a month ago, but incase of debit card the address is not updated... and noew they say the card will be delivered after i again uipdate my adress and this will take 20 days... till then i cannot use my exisiting debit card as well... I am completely pissed off with such pathetic service of HDFC bank
