I was a policy holder of HDFC SLIC policy no 11521426 called HDFC Unit Linked Pension plus were I have paid 10 lac for 1st yr in 2008and for next two year paid 10, 000/- premium as per staff cum agent of HDFC BANK explained me at the time of selling the above said policy and reminders made by him from time to time.
All of sudden a cheque of Rs 9, 67, 910.04/- dated 03/02 was send to me by HDFC SLIC without any covering latter and on enquiry with the customer care I came to knew that my above said policy has been terminated as on 25.1.2011. When I made an correspondence with HDFC SLIC grievance department I got a reply that my policy was terminated due to decrease in value of my units in paid up status.
AS I am of 60 years old and had invested my hard earned money for my retirement days but the HDFC SLIC had terminated my policy without any prior information which is a negligence done from HDFC SLIC .Due to such negligence I have to bear a great loss and HDFC SLIC is liable for such loss. I have made a complain at Insurance Ombudsman and was called as on 21/7 to here me but there the people were more supportive towards the company and said I will be reciving an order withn a month, but I think that order will be favouring the company so i need your help. And request you to see this matter seriously and help me to get my loss recovered which is due to guilty from HDFC SLIC.
