We had submitted a complaint earlier regarding the poor attitude of the Managers of Main Branch, Kollam, Kerala, for which we had received an acknowledgement with the above reference No. We regret to inform that we have not received any reply regarding our complaint.
However, from the next day itself we are being harassed in one or another way. Due to the last complaint, our transaction got delayed by 7 days, as a result we have to pay an additional cost of USD 15 / MT for the purchase of Raw Cashew Nuts from Africa. But still we tried to cooperate with the Bank staff. And I have not visited the branch since the last complaint.
Again today, we needed to send an advance of USD 52, 200/- to Africa for the purchase of Raw Cashew Nuts, the transaction was not done stating reasons that the result of one clearing cheque will be known only after 4:30 PM. Actually this said cheque was presented by us yesterday for Rs. 6, 13, 950/-. The Account holder of this cheque is M/s. Kumar Cashew Exporters, one of the leading exporters of Cashew Nuts in Kerala and not a single cheque has been bounced by this party since the year we started business with them.
We requested the Managers to arrange the swift transfer, but they didn't do so. As a result, this Contract may be cancelled or we will have to pay additional charges, as the prices of Raw Cashew Nuts vary in the international market, and also the supply is less. Also we do not have many genuine sellers in Africa.
We are in the process of changing the Bank very soon, but we request you to kindly cooperate with us until that time, as we have given the IFSC Code of Union Bank to our clients, and we expect the payment in this Account.
Meanwhile, we take this opportunity to thank the Management and other staff members of this branch, for their kind cooperation and support given to us in the past, and also we apologize for any mistakes on our part.
