Sequence of event is as below:
1. Jetairways ticket for RS 3, 290 was booked on 2nd March through ICICI Bank Credit Card No 3770 4142 5276 002 and same was cancelled on 3rd March but ICICI bank refused to credit any amount to my credit card account. Reverse swipe slip of Jetairways was also submitted to the bank through fax and e-mail and falso ollowed up several times without any result from Bank.
2. Stopped payment to the credit card due to above unjustified action of the bank.
3. Had a meeting at Lok Adalat, Bangalore with ICICI Bank's representative Mr Jayabharata Reddy on 8th April and it was agreed that ICICI Bank will revert back to me on the final amount of settlement. Sent the complete detail for full & final settlement on 8th April, '08 after the meeting at Lok Adalat. I had proposed to pay RS 40, 750 which is the actual money spent through the card for full & final settlement of the card.
4. Instead of reverting back, bank debited RS 64, 351 from my savings bank account (No. 007801511662) on 16th April against the actual due amount of RS 40, 750.
5. Inspite repeated reminders through mail and phone bank has refused to pay my excess recovery back i.e. RS 23, 601.
6. Had a meeting with ICICI, Bank Malleswaram, Bangalore Branch Manager Mr Jayanth Kamath. He also understood the case and agreed that their Bank's action was unjustified.
7. I have been writing to Ms Chanda Kochar for a meeting on above issue but havn't got any response.
Excess recovery of RS 23, 601 must be credited to my ICICI Bank savings bank account (No. 007801511662) immediately.
