On 21-Sep-09, I, S.Karthikeyan, an ICICI customer, tried to withdraw Rs.20, 000/- at at SHELL INDIA CHENNAI [HDFC Bank's ATM] along with another customer of ICICI whereas I received only Rs.6, 000/- which was witnessed by that customer also. Immediately I regestered the complaint against the same - SR119545788.On 09-Oct-09, I received a reply saying "Please note that the acquiring bank has confirmed the transaction of Rs. 14000 made on September 21 to be successful. Hence, we will be unable to credit the disputed amount back to your account." which is a false statement.
Again I requested them to enquire the witness or check with the video clip at ATM but they neglected my request.
Then, i registered complaint against this with Banking Ombudsmen [RBI] on 23-Oct-09 [Complaint No. - 200910006004342]. I am really surprised as there was no acknowledgement and after waiting for 36 days also, i didnt get any response.
Once again i registered query saying 'No response for Complaint No. - 200910006004342 and again No response yet!
Hence, i need my money back to my account with compensation and legal actions have to be taken against all authorities involved in this issue.
