Hi,

I had opened of the gold account with ICICI Bank, Marathahalli Branch in month of May. The details are below :-

Account No. : 141701508566

Customer no. :527258992

However, due to some unexplained reasons, this account never got activated till date due to which I was forced to submit the withdraw letter dated 19th June. But still I am still able to login in to the account using netbanking and I have still not got the cheque of Rs.50, 000 which I had issued to open the account.

The bank people are stating that the account will first open, then you transfer the amt to some other account and close the above account. Now, my question is if they have accepted my withdraw form, then why do they want to open the account?

Also, as the account is still not activated till date, when it will open and when shall I close it.

I have already made some 10 visits regarding this account to the Marathahalli branch but the bank people are not co-operating. One time they say that account is closed and they accept the kit, but when I ask them to return the cheque, they say that cheque is required to open the account, they return the kit and they say to withdraw the amount through ATM and close the account.

I request ICICI people to close this account without any further delay.
