OFFICIALS TROUBLING ME TO GIVE THE CLOSURE LETTER SINCE TWO YEARS

Dear Sir/Madam,

This is Madhavi. I was holding ICICI credit card bearing number 4477478535632008. Due to their erratic billing, despite my payments, I requested the customer care department to look into the details and give me a corrected statement. The manager then assured that he would look into the details and resolve the issue. I did not get the clarification and I was adamant that unless the billing pattern was expalined properly, I would not make any further payments.

The authorities deducted the due amount (RS.35, 000/- in Sep'08) from my ICICI saving account (007601513541) which I hold in Jubilee hills branch online without my consent or approval!

I immediately called my branch manager and he started apologizing and said that he was helpless! I was shocked at their unprofessional way of handling their customers' account, which made feel very insecure to continue my transactions with that bank.

I then immediately called the credit card department and asked them to give me closure letter since the amount was already withdrawn without giving me any justification. The lady manager who spoke to me asked me to make another payment of Rs.1900/- which would be towards my ICICI Lombard EMI and said that unless that amount is cleared, she would not be able to issue my closure certificate. I immediately deposited the amount online and called the manager to issue my letter closure letter. She assured me that the letter would be despatched in 7 working days.

In Nov'08, I got a statement asking me to make a payment of Rs.283.39/- towards my Lombard EMI instead of my closure letter!

Since then, I'm continuosly pursuing the issue with the credit card department, each time their managers get shuffled and every time I get their assurance that the issue will be resolved, but nothing comes in my favour.

Till date (since two years) my issue is not resloved instead my due amount which was Rs.283.39 in Nov'08 has gone up to Rs.7, 900/- today!

I'm desperately waiting for someone to look into the matter and close the issue.

I request the authorities not to use such deceptive methods fand cheat innocent customers like this for their profits.
