Low quality debit cards

All the numbers behind the debit card washed out like anything now i can't do any online transaction as the numbers are not visible. i have to pay extra amount to get a new card. my question is why i have to pay for the same unles and untill i have done something to the card. this is purely the low quality of the card...

Hope they will provide good quality cards in the future
