I have a health policy From ICICI Lombard. I have undergone a Cardiac Angioplasty Recently for which i had put a claim reimbursement on the policy. But it has been rejected twice on the grounds of pre existing illness as mentioned in their policy clause. However there are two unanswered questions?
1. How is the policy rejected when the patient is not suffering from any pre existing illness certified by the treating doctor (proof present)?
2. At the time of issuing the policy no previous health checkup of the patient was done, so no information was provided by the company regarding the conditon of the patient under which the policy would be rejected.
I request you to help me in this case of cheating by a reputed company like ICICI Lombard
Thanking You
