This is really a question of trust and commitment which ICICI had made. I had taken a policy "ICICI Life Time Gold - (Policy Number - 06798170) three years back which I surrended on 4th Dec. 2010.
At the time of surrender I was advised that a I will receive a confirmation call and fund amount will be transferred to your account within 14 working days. I receieved confirmation call on 6th or 7th Dec. in which I was asked about the reason to surrender which I repiled as I need amount for some reason like purchasing of house.
Waiting period of 14 days got over and even then fund amount was not credited to my account so I followed up with ICICI (Customer care - 9892577766) on 25th Dec. and I was informed that since you don't want to surrender your fund amount has not been transferred and again 10 working days I have to wait.
This incident is nothing but playing person's emotion and playing with various instrument like confirmation call so that they can frustrate the customer, mentally harasment.
So I would like to know what actions can be taken for such incidents.
