Dear Sir/Madam
To my utter bad Luck, I had applied for a term insurance Policy by ICICI Prudential, called I-protect, Option-II for sum assured of Rs 1 crore Accidental Death benefit Of Rs 50 lakh, on 14th Januaray 2011. I bought this policy online through ICICI website www.iciciprulife.com
My application number for this policy is OL00060628. I paid premium of Rs 28347 (inclusive of Taxes) via my credit card. I completed required medical on 26th January and thereafter submitted all the documents (Id proof, address proof, income proof photo) TWICE, one physically and secondly send scanned copies online, they have asked for.
Sir its almost going to be TWO MONTHS NOW, I have not received a single call from ICICI, on the contrary I have called them at their number (customers care & others) more than 30 times, each time I get a FALSE ASSUARNCE that my policy will be issued. I have written them emails, in that also they give assurance BUT NO action
Neither they are issuing me Policy Nor they are refunding my money.
I wonder if this can happen to me, a Educated citizen what these people may be doing to ordinary citizen who is not so well aware. They just want to “GRAB” the money.
Kindly intervene to get my policy issued or get my money refunded. And please they should be Heavily penalized so that they learn a lesson and in future innocent customers like me DO NOT SUFFER.
