My name is Yogesh Agarwal and I tried to apply for ICICI Pru iProtect policy couple of weeks back. Due to some reasons I was not able to complete the policy details at one go so i decided to resume it later. I have also received a mail with a link from ICICI Pru from where I can resume the policy.
After a few days I resumed the policy using link provided by ICICI Pru and filled all the details, however when I reached to payment page it showed me a message that we are unable to process your request and will get in touch with you shortly, but there was no response even after waiting for 2-3 days. The generated policy id was OL00030564.
After waiting for couple of days I wrote an email to their customer care and got an acknowledgement that they will be getting back to me in 6 working days. Even after waiting for 2 weeks I haven't got any response from them. In this case my call id was 26997637.
After this I gave a call to their customer care but they had no clue about what I am talking about and they have no record about my policy available. The executive assured me that they will get back to me in 24 hrs, now its more than that and again no response.
I can imaging that while selling a new policy they have such a pathetic service..what would they do to the people who go for claim settlement?
Overall I can say it has been my worst experience till date with an insurance or any other service sector company.
I would not advise anyone to go with icici pru, they just don't respect their customers.
Good part is that I haven't paid anything to them, so atleast I am safe from any financial loss :-).
Just wanted to share my experience so that others can not become the victim of ICICI pru poor services.
