I opted for a loan from IDBI bank and applied on 13Jan10.
The bank was delaying my processing even after the fact that all my documents and relevant details were up-to-date.
My legal and technicals documents were received earlier by the bank. Everything was clear.
When the day came when I was promised disbursal, the officials at IDBI BANK RAC CENTRE at KANDIVALI (MUMBAI) made a mandatory statement to avail the IDBI FORTIS HOMESURANCE and BAJAJ ALLIANCE INSURANCE. Without which the bank was not disbursing my pay order.
According to the rule, a service can be offered but shall not be mandatory.
I have received the pay order but after so many disruptions.
