Status of my registered post

Dear sir

i am prasanna venkatesan residing at west mambalam chennai. This is not complaint but an enquiry. IDFC has sent Rs20000 (DD) through registered post.

it was informed to me that the same is returned by POst office on decemeber 13th. i want to know the reason for the return and also i like to know the current status.
