I had made a Car Accident Insurance Claim (No.31608556) in Aug-09 on the Car Insurance Policy (No: 70155246) taken from IFFO TOKIO. They sent the cheque in Oct-09, but it did not reach me due to an error in my address with IFFCO TOKIO.
I contacted their Customer Care and as advised, faxed an address correction request to Mr. Prajapathi on 15-Dec-09 and I confirmed its receipt over phone. In Mar-10, I contacted IFFCO TOKIO again and they advised me to send another address correction request to Mr. Ashish and I faxed it on 23-Mar-10 and confirmed its receipt over phone. Since the cheque is not received until today, I rang up the Customer Care once again. I got the same advise to send another address correction request.
I am really fed up. I have taken the decision not to insure with IFFCO TOKIO any more, since the primary purpose of insuring my car has not been met.
