Not used HDFC credit Card, but wrong information entered in your HDFC database against my name

Hi,

I am not getting an proper response for HDFC customer care representative from credit card section, for updated wrong information in their database. I am going to escalate this problem, if i didn’t get my problems solved immediately.

Wrongly updated in HDFC credit card database.

A person named Srinivasan from Bangalore has used the credit card during the period of 2006. He has an outstanding amount of Rs 26k. This has been reflected in my name. After I come to know about this, i checked with the customer care representative (Name: Sarah) in credit card section of Coimbatore. She replied and asked sorry for wrong updation, and asked me to wait for the response in 2 days. It has been 10 days i am waiting for the response. No reply from the credit card section.

I called again today in the evening around 4.30 (4th Apr). A guy picked up and saying we have not updated any wrong information in the HDFC database.

I want the problem to be rectified immediately. Else I will take an necessary action. The customer care representative is giving two different answers and i don't know who is updating me the right information.

Please respond immediately. The issue need to be closed within 2 days.
