EXCESS FARE COLLECTION

This is a complaint addressed to Metropolitan Transport Corporation, Chennai. The MTC has recently raised the ticket fares for all categories of ordinary, express, deluxe and A/c Buses. As usual once the fare hike was announced, very smartly they converted all the buses into express and deluxe buses. The quality of buses are also very bad. Let us say for example the bus fleet No. AL1658 attached to Alandur depot, runs a ordinary service of 51E from Saidapet to Madipakkam as ordinary bus. Again the same bus during evening hours gets converted to 18D deluxe. I repeat deluxe service with the same fleet AL1658. Do you think the public are fools? Don't you think that you are cheating the public by converting all normal buses as express/deluxe services. I need an explanation.

The 2nd complaint is that MTC is not ready to run any new routes in the area of Nanganallur, Adambakkam. It is better that you allow the TNSTC Villupuram division to operate new routes. Worst to follow, ours is the only place where we are not connected directly to CMBT. Kindly take action these complaints.
