Sir,
I have purchasd Karbonn Handset K 217 from Univercell, Dr AsRao Nagar br, Hyd on 8th Mar 09 vide their tax inv no P.S.AS/7126 dt 28/3/09 and I have paid Insurance premium for he mobile covering Theft and Damage Insurance The tax invoice includes the insurance premium also.
They have never provided me any insurance document for the premium paid and even they have not informed that with which ins co they have insured with.
Very recently my Karbon mobile was damaged in the accident and broken. I have taken the same along with tax invoice to Unvercell and surprised to know that they dont know the insurer and asked me t Contact Alegion Inurance Broing Ltd, Chennai,
I have tried over phone two times and they are not in a position to help me out. They are asking me to fill the claim form and till now I did not get it. I am doing STD and additional expenses are being incurred by me.
I request respective authorities including IRDA to take necessary steps to stop such cheating practices. Further kindly advise for claiming the damaged one.
