The Manager,
Credit Cards Division
Deutsche Bank
Kolkata.
Sir / Madam,
Subject: Cancellation of CARD due to theft from your end of Sur-Charge on Petrol Bill without any prior intimation since Jan.
This is to inform you that we had made a Feul purchase of Rs. 1900/- from the Camac Street BPCL Petrol Pump, using the above mentioned credit card, and had no clue that the FUEL SURCHARGE WAIVER had ended for our above mentioned card, as there was no intimation from your end till date, be a statement, email or any other means of communication.
We received your Statement yesterday and were shocked to see the additional charges of Rs. 47.50 (Total Outstanding Rs. 1947.50) from your end without our approval or notice, so we decided to call on you yesterday evening but no one answered the customer care number 66016601 so today 10.12.2009 (Wed) we called you around 13:00 hours and got a reply from your customer care officer Mr. Bhavesh as well as some of your supervisor who said that the waiver was off since April which we were never communicated from your end. Further we were told that it was our duty to look up the Deutsche Bank website to see all the updates and they would only inform us in person if either we would call on them or surf their site?
We are a reputed panel of Doctors in Kolkata and did not expect this kind of attitude from a so called Internationally Acclaimed Bank, that is why we decided to call on you, anyway we asked your officer to take down a cancellation for our above mentioned card number and we got a request number: 05895 further we have decided to pass a circular regarding the same to all the Doctors practicing at Kolkata.
Further this matter shall be referred to the nearby Police Station and to the Consumer Forum to stop hassling of people in your own city. As per our records we are clear with our dealings with Deutsche Bank and have no outstanding to pay after today.
Thanking you,
Yours truly,
Dr Abhey Kripallani
