I am trying to lodge following concern with designated person of Allahabad Bank on this mail ID-
[email protected] but it is getting bounced due to permanent problem wit this ID.
Is Bank and this Gentle designated person is aware of this problem.
From this It is very clear that how serious is this Bank to address consumer Grievances and working of Grievances Cell.
I had sent same concern to following designated person but till date I have not received any response from any person. Detail is as below :

Sub: Irresponsible and discourteous behavior of Bank official.
Dear Sir,
This is to bring to your notice that my son Gaurav Tripathi has one Minor S/B a/c 111271 U/G of Neera Tripathi
(mother) since 2001 in your Bank, Main Branch at Allahabad.
He was minor at the time of opening of a/c now he is major. He is going for professional studies so he was in need
of one Credit card. I contacted bank for the same and it was told that this is a minor a/c so Credit card can not issued
on this a/c for that it has to be converted to Major a/c first only then Credit card will be issued.
As per Bank requirement I had submitted all required documents which were told one by one, before one month.
On 4th Aug'10 a Debit card no.4213 3700 8550 3268 has been issued after several persuasion and attempts.
On 18th Aug'10 my son requested Bank to issue a cheque book and the request was denied stating that your a/c
is still minor a/c and concerned dealing person advised that first get it convert to major a/c only then cheque book
will be issued.
It is very contradictory that first instance it was told that Debit card can not be issued on minor a/c then how this Debit credit
has been issued when a/c is still minor on 18th Aug'10 and request for cheque book is being denied.
I went to Branch Manager to enquire about this but his attitude was very very Irresponsible and discourteous and said
he can not do anything on this subject and it is your duty to get it done from dealing person by submitting again all
necessary required documents.
Sir, do you think the way he has ordered me is as per business ethics and what is guarantee that after submitting again all
necessary required documents it will be done.
Is it responsibility of a customer to run from one table to other table to get his work done?
Sir, I am associated with this branch since 1985, I would request you to kindly look into the matter and do the needful.
