Sub: Misquoted Banker’s Code Number

It is being informed after remitting amount of Rs. 24, 500.00 only to Suman Adhikary ICICI Bank at Lake Town Branch bearing Code No. ICIC0000355 on 17.03.2010 from Allahabad Bank, Siliguri Branch is not credited.

The amount remitted to ICICI Bank by Allahabad Bank under my instruction wherein the Branch Code of ICICI, Durgapur Branch Code No. ICIC0000188 is wrongly instructed by me instead of Lake Town Branch ICICI, under Code No. ICIC0000355.

It is unfortunate, on enquiry with ICICI Bank, Siliguri Branch I could not trace about the fate of the remittance which is wrongly transferred to Durgapur Branch instead of Lake Town Branch for which I am held responsible by quoting wrong Code Number.

I would now request you to please arrange to send back the instrument to my Allahabad Bank Account with Siliguri Branch bearing A/C No. 50021336309.
