NOT REFUNDING MY FIXED DEPOSIT OF RUPEES TEN THOUSAND

I had opened a joint S/B A/C with my wife (Arvind Bartaria and Chanchal Bartaria) in 2004 in OBC bank nerul station branch and given a fixed deposit of Rs ten thousand against a safe locker. That time my S/B A/C No was 1168 and for a few years my locker rent was cut from my FD interest and later from my S/B A/C.In 2005 all account numbers changed and my new number is 0892201 0010990. In 2009 I went to surrender my safe locker and refund of my fixed deposit. The bank has accepted the surrender of my locker but till date did not refund my fixed deposit as they say that since the account numbers have changed your fixed deposit is lost with the last software. Though in there locker register my fixed deposit is shown. To refund my fixed deposit the bank has to get the last software and the software company is asking for Rs 50, 000 (fifty thousand) to do that job and thus the bank is not interested in it.

I had made complaints to bank head office and to core but no reaction till date.

It is now almost one year since I am struggling with this problem.
