With reference to the above mentioned card we wish to bring to your notice the following discrepancies.

1. I have made payment against the card dues transacted by us on time without any delay. For months together, I did not get the statement to know our liability and to make payment.

2. Instead of sending the statements for card in the name of K Pani, occasionally, we used to receive the statements in the name of K VENKATAPPA (NOT KNOWN TO US).

3. Many a times, courier refused to handover the statement in the name of K.VENKATAPPA since my name is not K.VENKATAPPA. Please see many monthly statements in the past.

4. Many a times, the statement also had wrong address on the envelopes.

5. Since we did not receive the statements regularly and in our name, we are not aware of any liability in my name.

6. We repeatedly called the customer care and sent the request letters, but in vain. When all the proof of identity, residence, proof of official address, phone numbers etc., given and verified by the bank, why should we be penalized for wrong records and mistakes of the bank.

7. Finally at the intervention of ABN Bank Investment Wing Officials where we maintained port folio investments under priority banking, the address and the name particulars are unpdated telephonically.

8. For reasons of carelessness, recklessness, wrong records of the bank, non-payment charges, late payment charges, interest are debited to the card, which was disputed through emails.

9. I also lost lakhs of rupees out of port folio investments with ABN Amro for bad investments made on my behalf and sales effected.

10. Redemption of investments were not done on the date requested, but done after the stock market fell resulting in further loss to me.

11. I was unnecessarily made to pay for ULIP policies marketed by ABN for commission sake resulting in loss of Rs 9.60 lakhs.

12. Finally, having lost trust, faith and confidence in the system of ABN bank, the card was surrendered and discontinued my credit card operations about 2 years ago.

13. Further to my discredit, ABN has uploaded card information to CIBIL affecting the credit worthiness and loss of my reputation.

14. I have been receiving innumerable telephone calls for payment of late charges amounting to Rs 5000 nor no fault of us and no benefit accrued to us, which we have been disputing. All the calls are causing lot of irritation, mental disturbance and painful to reply the whole episode repeatedly to all new callers every time. It is an harassment being caused to us non-stop.

15. We have been asking the bank to show why we have to pay, but the bank has not responded even single time and unable to prove the debt. I am ready to pay the real transaction liability incurred by me, but not the reckless charges debited by the bank, for no fault of mine.

I request you to:

Stop calling and harassing any more.

Send us the statement for any real due payable by me for the transaction effected.

Withdraw the information sent to CIBIL immediately.

If it is not done, I will be compelled to take the matter to RBI, Banking Operations Dept, Banking Ombudsman, Consumer Redressal Forum, Police Dept, Bangalore and the Press concerned at an appropriate time.

Trust, you will not give room for such an unpleasant situation wasting every ones resources and valuable time.
