My f-in-law was an employee of Rourkela steel plant and has a Third party insurance with New India Insurance Company. It is a retired employees mediclaim benefit. The MIN No. 03601834. My mother-in-law Mrs. Lalitha Ganeshan is an acute arthiritis patient and she has been suffering since many years. Over the years her condition has worsened and she suffers tremendously. She had been advised hospitalisation by the doctor in an ayurvedic hospital recognised by the Insurance Company in order to enable her to move around a bit. She had taken similar treatment earlier and had benefitted a lot. The Insurance company had also reimbursed the expenses. Now this time the treatment was taken in Jan.2012 and reimbursement has been denied stating that this treatment does not need hospitalisation. Kindly help. Thanking you in advance
