I had transferred rs.40, 000/- from hdfc bank - my husband's a/c to my icici bank a/c on 1st june for meeting some of my payments by cheque for house construction. But the fund was not credited to my a/c till 15th june and there was no proper response from the bank. I had to make several std calls and local calls and lodge a complaint in phone banking of hdfc but they were reluctant to take the complaint. I had a very stressful and undergone tension moment till it got credited. They had not given any explanation till date why there was a delay and meanwhile i had to make alternate arrangement to meet my cheque hitting the icici bank a/c.
