UNETHICAL AIRTEL: STOP HARASSING INNOCENT INDIANS

Before I introduce myself, at the outset, I arrive at the above conclusion, after using the services of multiple telcos in the past encompassing Reliance, Idea and TATA Indicom. No telco have been cheating the customers like you people do. In the process you have been cheating not just the innocent people, but the Government also.

My name is Yathish G and my prepaid mobile number is 9972136886, Karnataka Circle.

Since last 10 days, you have been deducting charges for unwanted Hello Tunes service WITHOUT my explicit consent. This is complete violation of TRAI regulation.

All my efforts to stop this service through SMS, IVR and personally talking to your customer care have gone in vain. Every time I STOP it, you automatically enable it within few hours and deduct amount from my account WITHOUT MY CONSENT. Moreover this deduction happens at 12 am midnight most of the time. ONLY SICK CHEATERS like you can harass and create mental trauma to innocent people.

It is very clear that you have become the No.1 telco in the country by cheating customers, earning crores of revenues per day through SUCH fraudlent means.

Above all this, your Customer Care executives including Arun, Bharat, Gangadhar and few other ladies have audacity to disconnect my call in the middle of conversation in order to avoid my questions.

Given the above reasons, it is very much true that AIRTEL as an organisation can be associated with CRIMINAL BAND and BRAND. YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED THAT YOU CLAIM TO BE THE BIGGEST TELCO IN THE COUNTRY. JUST BEING BIGGEST DOESN’T SUFFICE, THE BUSINESS PRACTICE SHOULD BE ETHICAL AS WELL.

I had also been using various Airtel services including postpaid and data card services till now. AS A PROTEST against your irresponsible attitude regarding your customers, I am surrendering all the connections today and vouch never to use Airtel Service anymore.

IT IS important that your PR agencies, media relations and especially your Brand Ambassadors (past, present and future) including Sachin, Amitabh Bachan, Saif – Kareena, A R Rahman, Karthik, Saina Nehwal, Pawan Kalyan and others also know what kind of Unethical company they represent, putting their reputation at stake (I am sure they are currently aware).

We youth will launch a nationwide campaign though electronic, print and social networking media, especially focusing on customers (mostly innocent people unaware of your swindling practices) creating awareness about the same. This is absolutely necessary for the reason that fighting such cases against you individually doesn’t make any sense. Entire nation representing majority of your harassed customers should fight against you, AS A UNITED FORCE, seeking legal remedy against your criminal activities though legal recourse.
