Airtel is charging for services which are not subscribed and provided. one such is hello tune which I never subscribed but automatically forced on my mobile and started collecting Rs 30/- for 30 days in the past 2-3 months. repeated sms messages and converging with customer care didn't yield result. I lost Rs 70/- for the service called "Ishqkiya", which I don't what it is. This not a first instance. Previously they charge around Rs 90 for the service called Cricket SMSs, for which I had not subscribed.
Today Airtel closed my spouse's call in the middle saying low balance, although she charged with five coupons of Rs. 20/- each. There should be a balance of around Rs 70/-, but these mad customer care operators are saying the balance is valid till 17tyh Jun. So frustrating and very annoying.
Customer care 121, 198 are not customer friendly and do not respond properly to enlighten customers in stopping unwanted sms and calls.
Please let me know if I can do something to sue Airtel. I am willing to file PIL in the court or TRAI if needed or as per RTI act.
Airtel is harassing the customers like anything.
People are already facing other issues related to bad governance, corruption, Inflation and living with great stress, and Airtel like mobile operators adding additional stress.
This is unbearable.
