I had been to a very famous Restaurant Cafe Mangii at Khar, Mumbai yesterday i.e.10th July with two friends. We first ordered for some starters. After getting done with our first course, the person came to clear our plates. When he picked up my plate, there was a mid sized dead cockroach next to it. We don't know if it came from the plate, from the food, or was it stuck below the plate. But this shocking incident did happen and we couldn't believe what we saw.
I still kept my cool, coz I didn't want to spoil our evening. So I asked for the manager. The manager Never came! Some assistant manager came to me, apologized 4-5 times and then told me we'll get a 10% discount and one dessert free. I didn't say anything much coz I did not want to create ugly scenes. They also have the audacity to offer me a discount and complementary treats after this incident? And all this at an upmarket famous restaurant? Where the manager doesn't have time for customers who are served cockroaches as a side-dish?
I kindly request you to take strict action for the horrible treatment we've gone through in this restaurant and make an example of this incident. Thanks
