Soaring Attitudes and Arrogance at HDFC
I once went for an interview with HDFC ASSet Management, HO. Didn't realize what a big mistake i was making. 4 rounds of interviews on the 1st day, starting with a stress interview (taken by a wannabe idiot). After repeating the same answers with 4 different people, I thought I was probably reaching somewhere (anyone would). I was mistaken. Called me for ANOTHER round the next day (consultant told me they liked me (?)). Apparently, they hadn't had enough (and didn't let me have enough, either). One more round with the Big Boss, who spent the entire time of interview trying to judge me (within 5 seconds of my tell-me-about-yourself answer) and Tell me I don't need a job!! Yeah, right! After 4 rounds 1 (apparently) final round 1 test (which had the most riddddiculous Qs, completely unrelated to my domain), He is not convinced I need a job. So I believed him! I am convinced I do not need to work with them. All this for a Temp position!!
PS: The Qs in their test were probably designed for a diplomat/ PM/ economist.
