I got a call from some Riya day before yesterday and she said she got my resume from Monster India and wants to invite me for an interview. I was suspicious right away.
I went to the interview anyway to see how much bullshit they can come up with. There was this guy, his name was some "Syed Mansoori or something like that, I dont remember. He said, he is the VP of the company (yeah right!) and the same jazz which all cobra group company gives, like they UK based company, within a year, I will become a business development manager and shit like that and earn anywhere between 1.5-2 lakhs INR per month AT LEAST. That's where all my little doubts about the company were gone, I was sure they were nothing but con artists.
They asked me if I have a valid passport coz they will send me to UK for training, yeah right... eligible students paying the UK economy huge sums of money somehow get their visa but bogus companies like these which holds interview in shithole offices can arrange for visas, DO THEY REALLY THINK I WOULD BUY THAT???
They said I was on hold, although I knew for sure that I had got it because no matter how bad u r, these companies will hire you. I called them up at 7 and they said, the interviews are still going on and they will get back to me if I was selected or not (WHICH WAS A LIE COZ I ASKED MY FRIEND TO VISIT THEIR OFFICE AT THAT TIME AND HE TOLD ME THERE WAS NO ONE APART FROM THEIR OWN COLLEAGUES).
Then they called me at 7:30 and told me CONGRATS YOU'RE SELECTED and asked me to come tomorrow and I would need to spend the whole day with them as part of my next round.
Also they told me that I would be paid anywhere between 15, 000-50, 000 depending upon my qualification, experience and performance during the first 6 days of probation. I have got like 5 friends who worked for them and 3 of them did not get paid shit!! and the other two just got like 3k or 4 k in one month. That is a clear violation of consumer law my friend. A job is like a product which you sell and they clearly lie about it.
I am not going for it for sure as there is no doubt about this hoax fellas that this is total crap. They invite MBAs, engineers, management degree students and coax them with bullshit to get them into the company by doing sales. That VP of their's told us that they have their HQ at some posh office in Mumbai where they share the building with Ambanis and all... yeah... and still they take interviews in shithole offices... WHO THE HELL MAKES UP THIS STUFF???
I would like STRICT action to be taken against this bullshit company and the Indian government should take some action too and ban them from conducting business in India.
HOWEVER, before that I would like to say that I am extremely disappointed with the lousy so called "job portals" of India, who are not the least bit efficient to crack such crap companies, who have been advertising their jobs on their websites for more than a year now. I mean, in Australia, SEEK, a job portal website, removes a shady looking job ad within 24 hours and also send an email to all those who have applied to them. These suckers in India can't even crack such companies even after more than a year and even after so many complaints have been lodged???
More over, these job portal websites, where we register, in a hope to find a decent job for ourselves and they make our resumes public to such bullshit companies??? I also think that Monster India, Timesjobs, Jobstreet, Naukri and others who allow such scams to be advertised on their website should also be disciplined. They should be far more careful about what kind of job ads are being posted on their websites. They should learn from their Australian counterpart SEEK.
I AM HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED WITH COMPANIES LIKE COBRA GROUP WHO VIOLATE THE INDIAN DREAM OF MAKING COUNTRY A BETTER PLACE TO LIVE WITH BETTER JOB OPPORTUNITIES AND ALSO DISAPPOINTED WITH STUPID JOB PORTALS WHO SHOULD EITHER PULL UP THEIR SOCKS OR JUST BE SHUT DOWN BY AUTHORITIES...
