INTRODUCTION OF BUSES

Sir,

Perambur area in Chennai city is thickly populated and most of the public are commuting daily to Washemenpet, Tondiarpet, Tiruvottriyur, Royapuram and Ennore. But, unfortunately no buses are plying between Perambur Bus Station to these places. The frequency of trains to BEACH STATION VIA WASHERMANPET AND ROYAPURAM IS TWO HOURS. ONLY TWO TRAIN SERVICES ARE RUNNING DAILY TO THIRUVOTRIYUR, ENNORE. People find it very difficult to reach Mint, Washermanpet, Stanley Hospital, Royapuram, Maharani, Tondiarpet, Tollgate, Thiruvottriyur and Ennore. It is very difficult to reach NH-5 on the Vyasarbadi side to catch buses for Mint, Washermanpet etc.

While there are umpteen no. of 29C and its series' buses are plying from Perambur Bus station to Besant Nagar, Thiruvanmiyur, Saidapet and even to Thiruverkadu, no direct buses are introduced to the places mentioned in the first para. If introduced, it will have heavy patronage from the public in Perambur.

So, kindly arrange to introduces MTC buses to Mint, Washermanpet, Royapuram, Tondiarpet, Thiruvottiyur immediately to relieve the long pending agony of the purblic here.
