I'm working with Tata Consultancy Services. We are forced to work for 10 hours (includes1 hour break) without any extra pay and sometimes even asked to come on a Saturday. Although our client has the work hour as 8/day, the Project Managers are forcing us to work for long hours. They also claim that this is as per the law and even the HR claim the same. I suggest that the Labour Department issues a notice to all the HR concerned that they cannot force the employee to work for extra hours. This is not only the case with TCS but with many other IT companies.
