The M/s Bajaj Scooters
Sir,
I purchased a bajaj wave scooters in january from m/s k.v.r bajaj, chakkorathekulam, calicut (2006 modal registration no.kl-11-5969) during the time of purchase they assured me that any complaint arising the scooter condition will be solved
I am an employee of N.I.T calicut since 1975, I have been a customer of bajaj scooter. I have good opinion of Bajaj Scooter, but now I regret to say that my new scooter is having frequent complaints. Each time it is repaired at the above mentioned K.V.R. Motors Calicut. Mileage of the Scooter is very low. Hardly after running 30000 kms, I experienced defect in the sound even after cleaning the carburator the sound defect is not cleared. The authorities of K.V.R. Motors Calicut told me that the Bajaj company has ceased the production of wave scooters after 3 months of my purchase. The spare parts of wave model is not available in market lack of expert mechanic is also a problem. Now they are saying that the engine has to checked and repaired which will amount to Rs. 5000/-. It is not fair that a customer has to bear such huge amount for repair works. Being a new scooter, it has to be in good condition for 12 - 15 years. If not, the cost of the scooter (Rs.42, 700/-) may be refunded, or all the repair works should be done by the company, free of cost.
I request you to look forwarding into the matter and give instruction to kVR Bajaj Motors Chakkorathukulam Calicut to do the repair works free of cost. If they are not willing so, I will be forced to take legal steps against the company, which will cause unwanted difficulties to every one.
