Poor service

Hi,

I have been owning an General Motors Chevrolet UVA purchased 3 years back. After the first year when no product generally gives much of service problems I have been going through hell in getting a proper service from Chevrolet's distributor at Chennai - Ms Sundaram Motors. There are many instances where Sundaram Motors have demonstrated extremely poor knowledge and capacity to provide service to customers adding to their bureaucratic attitude under the cover of process.

Recent and current experience is that my car battery is worn out and I have been asking them for replacement of battery for more than 2 weeks. I don't get a proper response and they are unable to even tell me what battery will fit for this car. It is my daily routine to call them if they have ordered for my battery but they reply without any responsibility that they will call back. I also understand that the battery for this car is Exide DIN 50 R with reverse polarity and no other manufacturer's battery will fit in. Moreover this battery as I was informed is an OE product and hence Exide is not allowed to trade this in open market and customers are forced to take it only from the car dealers. If General Motors does not intervene and find a solution to this and they would see their end soon atleast in Chennai that too for having a dealer like Sundaram Motors. I would be forced to escalate my dissatisfaction and find a solution through legal forum if Sundaram Motors or General Motors does not provide me a solution in the next 48 hours.
