I had booked Manza T Wine on 16th May and was informed that i would get the car in 10 days (plus minus 2 days).
Till this time i was thoroughly impressed with the service. My problems with your company personal started hereafter-
The person from the finance team came to me thrice to either get the document or my sign. Why 3 times?
In the second week, i was expecting someone to call me and appraise me of the status of my car but no one called, when i made the attempt, every time i was told i will get back to you and post that no call back was made nor were my calls answered. Also your team never responded to my SMS.
Tired i went and spoke to Team Leader Harish Alurkar and complained of the irresponsible behaviour of Sandeep Bania, Harish apologised and assured of course correction. On Sat of week 1 when i went to make the remaining payment, i was told to make cash/credit card payment so that the vehicle is not delayed any further hence i was redirected to visit the Prabhadevi branch as Malad branch did not have a credit card swipe unit. I drove all the way only to be told that i need to pay a 2% surcharge as am using a credit card (which was not informed). Needless as of this date (28th May) all the dues were cleared from my end and i was promised delivery of my car by 2nd June (third week already as against the promise of delivery on week 2)
Having got no response earlier, i proactively started checking for the status and was told everything is as per schedule. My old car was also taken on 31st May.
However on the same day, Sandeep again visited my office and asked me to sign the hypothecation papers saying these are needed for the RTO work, this gave me a shock as i cleared all the outstanding 4 days prior and was promised the delivery on Thu and here on Tue i was being informed that all documents are still not complete.
I tried calling Sandeep and Harish all of Wed and Thu (1st & 2nd June) but they either did not respond or gave lame excuses. On 2nd June i visited the Malad showroom and was again informed that all work at RTO is done and that the car would be delivered by Fri or latest Sat. Harish here promised to call / message and update me the status (of the car reaching the Prabhadevi showroom for accessory fitment), since he did not respond, i sms'd him twice and made more than 10 calls but no response. So i was forced to visit the Prabhadevi office of yours with my complaint and there i was very conveniently informed that the demand draft for RTO is yet not processed. This happened today (3rd June). I was made to talk to the sales head Bhavin Panchal and the Concorde showroom manager Abhay and all they said was they will try and get the car by next Tue or Wed. When I insisted on meeting them, they offered the same executive (who first dealt with me) would visit me and If I wanted to meet them I have to wait till Monday.
In total I might have made around 50 odd telephone calls and an equal no of SMS but the only response I ever got was a lie.
This is it!
3 weeks after initiating the procedure to buy a TATA car has only given me surprises, troubles and harassment.
When i asked for cancellation of the booking i was cooly informed that i would lose a lot of money. When i demanded an apology and compensation, i was offered no apology and was told to pick up any accessory worth 5000/-. Mental agony is worth no SORRY??
A customer who is buying a new car worth 7 lac made to run pillar to post worth no one being honest and caring, this is the kind of treatment you give.
I have no option but to wait for the car to be delivered to me but one thing that i have made up my mind is however good my experience be with TATA motors post this, i would never recommend any one to be associated with any TATA car.
Your team (senior members) are never available for redressal) which hurts even more.
