Extortion through irrelevent fare

Dear Sir/Mam,

I have suffered many times due to auto-rickshaw fare charges in bangalore.

Though the drivers have installed meter in their vehicles, they generally do not

use that for charging the fare.

Here is one recent example, i hired one auto from BTM 29th Main, 2nd Stage he

said that he would not go according to meter and asked Rs.30 for BTM Water tank.

I acceded and came to the place but i needed to go some 100meters more, so i

asked him to go for but he refused and started quarreling without any compultion

from my side.

I am a law/rule abiding citizen of India and through this complaint i just want that

fares must be charged through electronic-meter only.

Its not a matter of a few rupees, its a matter of corruption, law&order. So kindly take a

strict stand on this and make a better India to live.
