I purchased the car SPARK (petrol) model in Feb. From day one I had problem of poor millage @ 12 km/liter of petrol, where as company claims 18 Km / liter. I made a complaint to the dealer - Soham Motors, Aurangabad- in the moth of May. The dealer representative tried to convenience that the poor millage in spark is not possible, it is all because "bad driving practice ". I requested them to check the vehicle, they never disclosed to me what checking they did, but their approach always was there is some thing wrong with my driving, the car has no problem. There method of average checking is very decisive & one can manage to get what ever average one wants to establish. Because in 30 km of run it is impossible to conclude the consumption.
I once again complain in June the same story was repeated.
The other problem after @10000 km running is suspension noise. I had given the vehicle for servicing on 31st Oct there is no improvement at all.
Since the spark 3 years maintenance is free, I doubt how truthfully the routine checking & replacement of oil, filters, engine tuning & other things are done, because, the dealer has no chance to make money.
I made on line complaint on the web site of GM under "Pissed consumers " on 06 Nov. 2011. The complaint review no. is 273138, but there is no response in any kind from GM.
Is it the tradition of GM or they have started learning the tricks being largely followed in Indian market of - not fulfilling any or all the promises made to the customer - or they don`t have enough control over their dealers?
Do I hope to get - 1) immediate acknowledge of my complaint 2) an attention to my vehicle by the GM engineer 3) if I am wrong, let me be convinced in a logical manne
