I purchased Honda Accord from Auto Max Honda Mayapuri in Nov. Last year at the time of renewal of the insurance Premium Automax Honda Approached me and convinced me to take Honda Assure policy, where the Premium was higher than the normal premium by Approx. 13000. I was clearly explained by Automax Honda representative who sold the policy to me that This is a policy specifically designed BY Honda Siel for its premium customers and under this policy all types of risks are covered (unless expressively excluded in the policy document) and the claim will be settled without deducting any depreciation. Since the policy is cash less that means I will not be required to pay any amount in case of any accident etc. On 15th September when there was a cloud burst in Gurgaon suddenly there was a huge downpour and My car got stuck in water in Gurgaon. We therefore called the helpline who helped us to toe the car to the workshop. Now I am told by Automax Honda workshop that I will have to pay a major amount from my pocket as the water has entered into the car Engine, which needs to be opened and reworked and the Insurance Company (Bajaj Alliance) is not covering this under the Hondas Assure Policy. I feel totally cheated as I paid higher premium to get all risk covered and now I am told that the major part of the repair will have top be borne by me. Can someone in Honda please look into this.
