My Honda-CRV car had met with an accident in February this year. The car was sent to authorized Honda dealer the same day. The car has been lying under repair ever since. I have visited the dealer on six occasions, spoken to them on countless occasions, written emails three times and spoken to Honda one to one on nine occasions but all to no avail. The dealer cites the non availability of spares parts as the reason of delay. They have told me that Honda does not maintain the inventory of CRV spares in India and the import them from Japan whenever they need. Honda is obviously duping the customers in India as they do not disclose this information to customers while selling the car. Honda is saving the cost of inventory at the cost of Indian customer's convenience. I have been with out a car for more than three months now while Honda has saved thousands of rupees in inventory costs with out having to pay me a single rupee in compensation! Is it short of duping hapless customers?
